HARYANA FOOD RECIPES: Haryana is one of the most wealthiest state in India with humble and kindhearted people.The occupation of the majority is agriculture and dairy. Haryanvi diet is a vegetarian one,they consume a lot of milk and ghee. In fact,a lot of people make butter and ghee at home.Haryana is also regffered to as "The Land of Rotis".

MITHE CHAWAL:

Mithe chawal are prepared using basmati rice,ghee and sugar along with some cardamom and saffron.Basmati rice is grown best in Haryana.This dish is very famous, and every individual must try it at least once.

BAJARA KHICHRI:

Khichri is had almost throghout the country.However,what makes Haryana Khichri,so popular is that instead of rice,Bajara is used.For preparing bajara Khichri,bajara is soaked overnight.Then Moong daal and bajara are washed together and cooked in a pressure cooker along with spices.We all know that the bajara is very good for health as it is a hardy crop.Thus this recipe is recommendd to all especialy to those what do notwish to have rice.

BHURA ROTI GHEE:

BATHUA RAITA:

Bhathua Raita is a yogurt recipe that is very refreshing and gives added benefits to health.Bathua or chenopodium leaves are anti oxidants and are rich in many vitamins.To prepare this dish,ingredients like chopped bathua, cumin powder, red chili powder and salt are addeded to the yogurt.Ratia can be served along with almostall meals in Haryana.

MALPUA:

Malpua is an Indian version of sweet pancakes.They are fluffy and are served hot.Malpua is made and garnished in ghee.In some places,malpua is served with rabri.

MIXED DAL:

Mixed Dal is the good for satishfying both- your health and taste buds.It is a protein rice recipe in which various dals are mixed with spices and are cooked in ghe.The semi crushed grains of the dal allow the dish to have dal with plain rice or jeera rice.

KADHI PAKORA:

Food has so many things in them such as calories and fats. Eating healthy is important for everyone to live a healthy life. You can eat it, but eating it daily is a bad for you stay healthy and eat the right foods. Deep fried foods hurt your health in many ways. However, just to satisfy our taste buds we are risking our heath. You may feel more satisfied after having junk food but that is just the feeling of fullness and nothing else.cooking is a art and science.it is an art as well as science.it is craft of preparing food for consumption.
Food is what people and animals eat to survive.food usually comes from animals and plants.it is eaten by living things to provide energy and nutrition.food contain the nutrition that people and animals need to be healthy.
cooking is my favorite activity because it is way to reduce my stress.
